The Seed Report’s Match Predictor predicts that Gonzaga and Arizona will meet for the Championship in New Orleans on April 4, 2022. The Match Predictor also says that Gonzaga will be victorious. The model also predicts that Iowa St will give people fits winning their first two games before bowing to Auburn in the Sweet 16.
The model predicts one very close game – St. Mary’s vs. Indiana (if Indiana wins their play-in game versus Wyoming). If Wyoming wins, St. Mary’s should prevail. I’ll try to update this after that game. The truth is that in the model, none of these teams make it to the second weekend.

The odd thing is that on the surface this looks like a pretty chalk tournament, which of course always worries me. My trouble makers will include Iowa St, Davidson, Michigan, and Loyola.
